The Health Wagon is a mobile free clinic that serves the uninsured and underinsured working poor with free health care at eleven sites in five counties: Wise, Scott, Lee, Dickenson, Buchanan and Russell and the city of Norton. 

Some services offered are acute and chronic disease management, low cost lab diagnostic services; medication assistance, immunization programs, wellness classes; loan closet for medical supplies, cancer screenings and more. Free health fairs are offered during the year.
Specialty clinics include cardiac, dental and eye, endocrinology, lung cancer early detection program, diabetes and women's health.

HOPES Free Clinic

The HOPES (Health Outreach Partnership of EVMS Students) Free Clinic is staffed by EVMS students, residents and physicians.  The purpose of HOPES is to serve uninsured citizens of Norfolk with long term and specialty care.

Supervision by attending physician.  Some of the clinics offered are Women's Health Clinic; Endocrine Clinic; Life Counseling; Dermatology; Access AIDS and Art Therapy.

The Women's Clinic services include pap smears and STD testing, as well as prenatal care.

Adams Compassionate Healthcare Network (ACHN) is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to community members in need.  Volunteer doctors and staff provide specialty care at low or no cost to the patient.

In order to become an ACHN patient, you must meet certain eligibility requirements.  These include having no other healthcare insurance and meeting certain income guidelines.  You must meet with an eligibility counselor each year to update information.

Some of the services provided include care for chronic medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or arthritis; preventative screenings; routine doctor visits; well woman exams; lab work; health counseling; and prescribing and dispensing medicine.
