Virginia Healthcare Transportation LLC offers non-emergency, medical transportation. Offering door-to-door, curb-to-curb, door-through-door service they try to provide transportation to senior citizens, individuals who require the use of wheelchairs, and parents and children with special needs. They pick up their clients from their homes and escort them directly to their destination and back, providing a safe and timely drive.

Access on Demand

Access on Demand is a pilot transportation service for Chesterfield County.  Access on Demand is a door to door service for eligible residents who are registered for Mobility Services.  Transportation can be to work, medical or errands. Once you are registered and have your Mobility Services ID card, you choose the vendor from a list, then call to make your reservation for a one-way trip. 

Please review each of the 4 service providers to see which may best suit your needs.  Currently, the providers are Dependacare, Owl, Inc Transportation, Roundtrip and UZURV.  Some of the providers may offer ambulatory and wheelchair service. 

Medical and work trips only are available Monday - Sunday 24 hours a day.  Other services are available Monday-Friday 5:30am until 7:30pm and on Sunday 7:30am until 7:30pm

 Visit Register Online  Proof of residency must be sent with the application.  You can also call 804-706-2796 to receive a registration form in the mail.

Reservations must be made at least two hours in advance by calling an authorized provider. Cancellation of a ride must be at least two hours prior to the ride or the $6.00 charge will be made.
